new year's eve recap
10:38 am & 1st of January, 2005

It's definitely 2005, and to say the least, I'm relieved.

As the clock striked midnight, I was talking to Ryan on the phone. That's not a bad way to start off my 2005. I talked to him until 2am. I miss him, and I told him, "Ryan... We'll be seeing each other this month" and when I said that, everything seemed so much better. It was like a huge weight was lifted off of my shoulders, and I could breathe again.

Last night was a wild New Year's Eve. People were drinking (even I took a few sips of Mom's drink), we had plenty of food, and we had a big fire outside. Our neighbors were shooting off wonderful fireworks all night long, and no one in my family was arguing. It seemed like the night would go greatly, and it did, until around 9:30pm.

At that time, my cousin David's girlfriend, Sarah, had a seizure. She has epilepsy, so it wasn't anything really new to David. I was flipping out. Sarah is pregnant, and the doctor had already told her that if she had another seizure that the baby could die. Well, when she fell, she fell on her stomach, and David grabbed her and made everyone leave the room. He let her have the seizure because there is nothing that anyone can really do, then they sat on the floor for a good 20 minutes before leaving for the doctor. Anyways, the baby and Sarah are both fine, thankfully. It was just very scary.

I'm glad I was talking to Ryan when the ball dropped. I have a feeling that this year will have more ups than downs, and I'm excited about times to come. By this time next month, I'll be at home with my friends. Everything will be good.

Happy 2005, everyone. Now, I must archive my entries.

New Year's Resolution(s):
1. Don't spend my year following resolutions. Just let things be.

PS. I like the new layout. Everyone should know by now that pink is my favorite color, and I also like the neat feel to it.

PSS. I took some pictures yesterday. Go to my album to take a look.
